See the Château Frontenac, this world-famous hotel, the Place d'Armes which, under the French regime, was the place par excellence for military parades and public harangues, the Citadel, which presents a star plan characteristic of Vauban-style fortifications, the Battlefields Park which was the scene of the battle between the English and French armies led by Wolfe and Montcalm as well as the Parliament Building, Québec's first national historic site.
